The Studio is a completely private, large one-bedroom apartment taking up the first level of the Loft House. Separate entrance through a set of double French doors opens up to the spacious, airy suite that features a pink upholstered king-size bed with luxury linens, a charming pink and black vanity dresser, and a sitting area with smart TV. There’s also a twin-size bed that can be used as an additional sleeping bed for a 3rd guest ($25 linen fee applies).
The suite has been lovingly remodeled with polished concrete floors, metal industrial beams, concrete brick and siding walls, and a ceiling fan. It’s filled with images of classic Hollywood movie stars and fun vintage decorative touches.
A kitchenette offers the conveniences of a retro mini-fridge and a cart with a coffee maker, microwave, and plates / mugs / glasses / silverware. The remodeled bathroom features custom mid-century paint designs, a large walk-in glass shower, and the show-stopper: the original vintage pink pedestal sink from the 1950s house!
All of this sits on Stardust Retreat’s 3+ acres, where guests enjoy seclusion and relaxation on a wooded hilltop with views for miles (the nighttime city lights are magical). Sunrises & sunsets are stunning, as is the clear country night sky, perfect for stargazing. The expansive, covered patio is lovely for the views or bird & wildlife watching while enjoying some coffee or wine.
A collection of outdoor recreation is available for your enjoyment such as cornholepickleball and skeeball. We offer a pack-and-play if needed (please request ahead of your stay). A small charcoal grill is also available. There is plenty of parking in the huge circular driveway for boats, ATVs, trailers or even campers/RVs (no hook-ups available).
The location is very private — the dead-end residential street has only two other homes, spread far apart. The effect is seclusion & relaxation, while being minutes from anything you need in town.
When booking The Studio at Stardust Retreat, you will have exclusive use and access of the first floor of the Loft House, with its own private access. Note that other guests may be staying in the upstairs Loft apartment (with separate entrance at the other side of the house).

Guest Policies
Check In/Out
Check-in is 3 p.m. or after. We offer a zero contact, self check-in process with a unique keypad code for each guest.
Check-out is 11 a.m. We may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, depending on other bookings. Please inquire about this 24 hours in advance.
House Rules
Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside any room or house at Stardust Retreat. No firearms allowed inside the house.
We accept pets with prior approval on a case-by-case basis. You must request to bring a pet at the time of booking and receive approval in advance of your stay and pay the required pet fee of $50 per pet (max 2).
Cancellation Policy
Guest receives 100% refund (less cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% refund (less cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
There are no refunds for late check-in or early departure, or for things beyound our control such as weather, travel issues, etc. We strongly urge every guest to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking — and we provide that option — to cover you in case of unexpected issues.
Unregistered Guests & Events
Absolutely NO unauthorized guests, events, parties or gatherings. The only people allowed to be on the premises during your stay are the registered, authorized guests on the reservation at time of booking, unless otherwise approved beforehand.
We understand that many of our guests may have friends or family in the area that they would like to visit with at the property. A few temporary visitors may be allowed on a case-by-case basis (no more than 4) — you MUST notify us and obtain prior approval for ANY unregistered people coming to the property. If you wish to have any visitors who are not registered guests, please contact me for prior approval.
