More About The Loft
The Loft at Stardust Retreat occupies the entire upstairs floor with its own private entrance. Everything is very light, open and airy, and completely modern — a true architectural gem. The perfect country getaway, in style!
The spacious living room has two ceiling fans, a 50″ television with Roku and streaming channels, and a variety of games to enjoy. It opens to a full kitchen that includes a large, granite-topped island with seating. You will find everything you need including pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and coffee and tea supplies.
Two large bedrooms offer top-of-the-line, king-size gel posturepedic mattresses with luxury linens, ceiling fans, Smart TV and ample closet space. Each bedroom has a privacy lock. The full bathroom includes a slate walk-in rainhead shower supplied with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. It is accessed from the hallway to be convenient for either bedroom.
The Loft at Stardust Retreat sits on the property’s 2 acres, where guests enjoy seclusion and relaxation on a wooded hilltop with views for miles (the nighttime city lights are magical). Sunrises & sunsets are stunning, as is the clear country night sky, perfect for stargazing.
The expansive, covered front porch is lovely for the views or bird & wildlife watching while enjoying some coffee or wine, and you will find a pair of high-quality binoculars to assist. A collection of outdoor recreation is available for your enjoyment such as cornhole, giant jenga, disc golf, and pickleball. A small charcoal grill is also available.
For child safety, there are outlet plugs and a baby/toddler gate for the top of the Loft stairs. We offer a crib and pack-and-play if you need them (please request ahead of your stay). There is plenty of parking in the huge circular driveway for boats, ATVs, trailers or even campers/RVs (no hook-ups available).
The location is very private — the dead-end residential street has only two other homes spread far apart. The effect is seclusion & relaxation, while being minutes from anything you need in town.
When booking The Loft at Stardust Retreat, you have exclusive of the entire upstairs apartment with its own private access. Note that other guests may be staying in the downstairs Studio (with separate entrance at the other side of the house). The Loft is on the second floor of the house, accessible by one flight of indoor stairs. You MUST climb stairs to reach the unit!

Guest Policies
Check In/Out
Check-in is 3 p.m. or after. We offer a zero contact, self check-in process with a unique keypad code for each guest.
Check-out is 11 a.m. We may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, depending on other bookings. Please inquire about this 24 hours in advance.
House Rules
Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside any room or house at Stardust Retreat. No firearms allowed inside the house.
We accept pets with prior approval on a case-by-case basis. You must request to bring a pet at the time of booking and receive approval in advance of your stay and pay the required pet fee of $50 per pet (max 2).
Cancellation Policy
Guest receives 100% refund (less cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% refund (less cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
There are no refunds for late check-in or early departure, or for things beyound our control such as weather, travel issues, etc. We strongly urge every guest to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking — and we provide that option — to cover you in case of unexpected issues.
Unregistered Guests & Events
Absolutely NO unauthorized guests, events, parties or gatherings. The only people allowed to be on the premises during your stay are the registered, authorized guests on the reservation at time of booking, unless otherwise approved beforehand.
We understand that many of our guests may have friends or family in the area that they would like to visit with at the property. A few temporary visitors may be allowed on a case-by-case basis (no more than 4) — you MUST notify us and obtain prior approval for ANY unregistered people coming to the property. If you wish to have any visitors who are not registered guests, please contact me for prior approval.
