The Loft at Stardust Retreat occupies the entire upstairs floor with its own private entrance. Everything is very light, open and airy, and completely modern — a true architectural gem. The perfect country getaway, in style!
The spacious living room has two ceiling fans, a television with Roku and streaming channels, and a variety of games to enjoy. It opens to a full kitchen that includes a large, granite-topped island with seating. You will find everything you need including pots and pans, dishes, silverware, glassware, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and coffee and tea supplies.
Two large bedrooms offer top-of-the-line, king-size gel posturepedic mattresses with luxury linens, ceiling fans and ample closet space. The front bedroom offers a wall-mounted TV with WiFi streaming services. The full bathroom includes a slate walk-in rainhead shower supplied with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.
The Loft at Stardust Retreat sits on the property’s 3 acres, where guests enjoy seclusion and relaxation on a wooded hilltop with views for miles (the nighttime city lights are magical). Sunrises & sunsets are stunning, as is the clear country night sky, perfect for stargazing.
The expansive, covered front porch is lovely for the views or bird & wildlife watching while enjoying some coffee or wine, and you will find a pair of high-quality binoculars to assist. A collection of outdoor recreation is available for your enjoyment such as cornholepickleball, and skeeball. A small charcoal grill is also available.
For child safety, there are outlet plugs and a baby/toddler gate for the top of the Loft stairs. We offer a crib and pack-and-play if you need them (please request ahead of your stay). There is plenty of parking in the huge circular driveway for boats, ATVs, trailers or even campers/RVs (no hook-ups available).
The location is very private — the dead-end residential street has only two other homes spread far apart. The effect is seclusion & relaxation, while being minutes from anything you need in town.
When booking The Loft at Stardust Retreat, you have exclusive of the entire upstairs apartment with its own private access. Note that other guests may be staying in the downstairs Studio (with separate entrance at the other side of the house). The Loft is on the second floor of the house, accessible by one flight of indoor stairs. You MUST climb stairs to reach the unit!
Front Bedroom
The front bedroom of the Loft features iconic images of classic 1950s icons Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe, as well as memorabilia like the original Breakfast at Tiffany’s “Moon River” vinyl album and vintage Life Magazines.
Like all guest rooms, this bedroom has a privacy lock, king-size bed with top-of-the-line gel posturepedic mattress and luxury linens, television with WiFi streaming services and generous closet space.
The bedroom shares one spacious bathroom with the second bedroom — all of it in the private apartment for your group alone.
Back Bedroom
Named after James Dean, the back bedroom features an original vintage photograph of the “Rebel Without A Cause” star with his Porsche Spyder race car, along with other images of Hollywood’s original bad boy.
Like all guest rooms, this bedroom has a privacy lock, king-size bed with top-of-the-line gel posturepedic mattress and luxury linens, television with WiFi streaming services and generous closet space.
The bedroom shares one spacious bathroom with the first bedroom — all of it in the private apartment for your group alone.

Check-in & Checkout
Check-in is 3 p.m. or after. We offer a zero contact, self check-in process with a unique keypad code for each guest.
Check-out is 11 a.m. We may be able to accommodate early check-in or late check-out, depending on other bookings.

Cancellation Policy
Guest receives 100% refund (less cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 50% refund (less cancellation fee) if cancellation occurs at least 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
There are no refunds for late check-in or early departure, or for things beyound our control such as weather, travel issues, etc. We strongly urge every guest to purchase travel insurance at the time of booking — and we provide that option — to cover you in case of unexpected issues.
House Rules
Absolutely no smoking is allowed inside any room or house at Stardust Retreat.
We accept pets with prior approval on a case-by-case basis. You must request to bring a pet at the time of booking and receive approval in advance of your stay and pay the required pet fee of $50 per pet (maximum 2).
Deposits
Every booking requires a deposit in case of damage. This is simply a hold on your credit card 5 days before your arrival, not a charge. The deposit is released within 3 days of your departure. The deposits are:
- Entire Retreat: $600
- Atomic Ranch House: $400
- The Loft: $250
- Hollywood, Monroe, Hemingway & Sinatra suites: $150
