AAA Magazine — March 2025
AAA named Coleman one of “4 underrated dining destinations in Texas” in its March issue.
Just a few years ago, this west central Texas city of 4,000 didn’t have much of a bustling downtown (think boarded-up businesses). That changed with the investment of Robert and Laurie Williamson, owners of Rancho Loma in nearby Talpa, who now have three Coleman restaurants. “The Williamsons were the spark that created the fire we have now,” says John Smiley, publisher of Coleman County Living magazine.

Our very own local artist, Calina Mishay, filmed the premiere episode of Cal’s Hometown Revival right here in Coleman, Texas. Cal and her crew stayed at Stardust Retreat, and we are featured in the episode. Catch it beginning Oct. 1, 2024 on Destination America from the Discover Channel.

Actor and director Kelsey Pribilski Ray wrote and directed this fan film, set to Taylor Swift’s song “Happiness” – and filmed it right here at Stardust Retreat!
